A very good local rental company but still one of the largest privately owned self drive rental companies in Lancashire that I am aware of. The business has been established for msny years and I still remember visiting them with my dad to collect hire vehicles over 25 years ago and the ownership has remained the same even today.What you will benefit from Intack Self Drive is cheap rental options including short and long-term hire. They also, have over 300 vehicles including cars, vans and Minibuses.

We had initially booked car hire with Enterprise, we provided everything they asked for then at the last minute as we were traveling to France they refused the car hire as they needed 72 hours notice, they were charging us 521 for 3 days hire! Late afternoon we went to Intack and the ladies in reception were all very friendly and helpful, our sales person was patient and helpful and put up with me translating to my nephew in Italian, everything went smoothly, she got him the perfect car at the perfect price, far cheaper than Enterprise. More people need to bring their business here, they deserve to be the leaders. Thank you again.

When I arrived at intack self drive I was told the vehicle I had paid for and booked 4 days prior wasn't back from it's previous rental and the alternative vehicle wasn't fit for the purpose I needed it for, having no choice due to time constraints I took the alternative making my job harder and more journeys needed, surely when you book a van that far in advance they should make sure it's there when you need itAlso, upon returning the vehicle I was told the diesel wasn't reading full, even though I'd just filled it up,the man checking the van in said the needle was slightly off full, when I looked I saw that it was very very very slightly away from full, he told me that it'd take at least 8 ltrs to fill it and the price of the diesel was at an inflated rate, I was unwilling to pay that for the diesel and was sure that less than 8ltrs would fill it, so because I was 15 minutes early in returning the vehicle I went back to the garage and put another 3 ltrs in all the while the automatic anti spill nozzle on the pump was constantly clicking off all the time, in the end the tank was so full that diesel ended up spilling out and going on the floor, I'd barley managed to get 3ltrs in it,Intack are running a shambles of a business very unorganized and incompetent I WILL NOT BE USING THEM AGAIN!!!! EVER!!!!
