Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking
This Statement is made by The Kay Group (UK Holdings) Ltd and also applies to its subsidiaries; The Kay Group (UK) Ltd and Intack Self Drive Ltd
Modern slavery and human trafficking is a crime and an abuse of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the removal of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal and financial gain.
The Kay Group (UK Holdings) Ltd, and its subsidiaries are ethical companies, directly employing all employees and trades with bona fide UK registered Companies, suppliers and contractors.
The Kay Group (UK Holdings) Ltd, and its subsidiaries, have a zero tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking within our business and that from within our supply chains and contractors.
The Company acknowledges the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will ensure transparency within the organisation and with suppliers, contractors and consultants to The Kay Group (UK Holdings) Ltd, and its subsidiaries
- We expect the same high standards from all of our contractors, suppliers and other business partners.
- To ensure compliance to the Modern Slavery Act 2015, The Kay Group (UK Holdings) Ltd, and its subsidiaries will:
- Not make excessive or illegal wage deductions
- Not use wage deductions as a disciplinary measure
- Not require you to stay in company or broker controlled housing
- Allow you to enter or leave the Company’s premises freely
- Not allow you to work excessive overtime
- Treat all employees with the highest mutual trust and openness establishing a culture of ethical integrity
The Kay Group (UK Holdings) Ltd, and its subsidiaries, expect our suppliers, contractors and consultants similarly are expected to conduct their affairs:
- Not make excessive or illegal wage deductions

- Audit their compliance to the Modern Slavery Act 2015

The company will not engage with any business, including suppliers, contractors and consultants knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking.
This statement is made pursuant to s.54(1) of the Act and constitutes the Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement for The Kay Group (UK Holdings) Ltd, and its subsidiaries, in respect of the financial year ended 31 October 2018. It has been approved by the Board of The Kay Group (UK Holdings) Limited and the original has been signed by a Director, Kenneth Kay.
Throughout the 2018/19 financial year, the company is continuing to assess the risk of slavery and human trafficking in its own business and its supply chain and will publish a further statement following the financial year ending 31 October 2019.
