Can I rent a car with only cash?

Unfortunately, we can only accept card payments in the driver’s name for both the deposit and rental charges at Intack Self Drive.

Do I need insurance to rent a car?

Yes, insurance is required for all rentals to be road legal. Don’t worry, though – we handle that for you! We offer a variety of insurance options at different rates so you can find the right one for your needs. Plus, we provide a Collision Damage Waiver to help lower your initial deposit. If you can use your own comprehensive insurance, you'll even get a 20% discount on your daily car hire fee!

What do I need to rent a car?

To rent from us, you’ll need a valid photocard driving licence. If you have an old paper licence, you’ll also need a valid photo ID (like a passport) and a credit or debit card. Returning customers need one proof of address (like a recent bank statement or utility bill). If you’re new or have moved since your last rental, please bring two proofs of address.

What if I return the car early?

No problem! If you bring the car back before the end of your booking, you’ll get a refund for any full days you haven’t used. If you have any questions, just reach out to our friendly team!
