Lockdown 2

While the UK is once again plunged in to lockdown to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to protect the NHS we wanted to let you know that here at Intack Self Drive as during the previous lockdown we will remain open.

As an integral part of transport and logistics industry vehicle rental is required to stay open to provide backup/extra vehicles to amongst others the NHS, local authorities, Royal Mail and other carriers as well the many local trades that will help keep the country moving as we head through lockdown to the Christmas period. 

Instead of taking football fans to matches or Hens & Stags to their weekends away this Autumn our minibuses are now helping companies like Lancashire Fire & Rescue maintain a safe transport service for their fire fighters as well as several schools from around the borough collecting students in a socially distanced environment.

Many of our vans will be helping Royal Mail deliver those early Christmas presents and our city cars are perfect for those essential workers who cannot do their job from home and still need to travel to work. 

Our hardworking, dedicated staff will continue to be at the rental centre to make/amend or complete your bookings, maintain our hire vehicles and clean them thoroughly as well as delivering and collecting them across the county.

If you do have an urgent need for a vehicle and come to the rental centre we do ask that in line with government guidelines you wear your face mask/covering while on site and sanitise your hands upon entering the offices and that only the hirer/driver comes in to the office.

We would like to thank you for your custom this year and in previous years and we hope to see you again soon.
